ON045 is by the Czech sound and visual artist Teh(A)nu, who has appeared on a few Owlripper compilations and in collaboration with me in the past (as The Owl and TEHOWL).

Lofi dungeon synth atmospheres and post-industrial pulses meet dark, anthemic, cinematic ambient with philosophical and introspective speech and a few unexpected plunderphonics moments to delight.

Sometimes the best sounds don't reveal themselves to you right away, and they can be the ones that stay with you a long time. There are some tunes and rhythms running through this that took me a little while to uncover but they will definitely lodge themselves into your earworm storage facility.

"In the recordings you can hear excerpts from conversation between Ursula K. Le Guin and Zoë Carpenter, some bits from few well known bands; Blanka, Bětka and Edita's voices and some nice sonic creations by Jani and Satu.
